Loosely translated, the Devil Bug.
It's been a few months since I've even opened up Maya...feeling a bit motivated this weekend, so I decided to "transform" one of my older models into something slightly different. This model's previous incarnation was in the form of the delightfully colorful, and somewhat less evil-looking Googlebot. You could, if you were so inclined, say that this little guy was the bastard child, born from a drug-fueled one night stand between the Googlebot and this Samurai. I'm not sure why you would say that, and I'm not even sure how that would work, but you said it, not me. Modeled with Maya, rendered with Maxwell Render. |

But just one little thing disturbs me... the two imperfections in the concrete located at the top of the image catch the attention... the principal subject loose a bit of importance.
