Yeah sorry, I deleted the previous version of this, and re-did it..
This is a 3D interpretation of a character sketch by Andrew Bell. The original sketch can be seen here. And be sure to check out the rest of his amazing art at creaturesinmyhead.com. Modeled with Maya, subtle details added with ZBrush, rendered with Maxwell Render, and minimal post work done with Photoshop. Seems like a lot of work for a rather simple render, but I've got this workflow down now, and when I re-did this model, it only took me two hours total, including render time. I have a feeling you will be seeing more like this very soon..  Matt |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
